    Andrew Loomis make pencils fun!

I was looking through my drawing books earlier this week, and I came across a really old book that was handed down to me by a relative. I remember when I was in school I thought it was a great resource, so I started looking through it again. It’s called Figure Drawing for All It’s […]

    Digital Arts Tutorials

Digital Art Tutorials was created with the goal of bringing industry-proven, professional digital art techniques to the masses.  Many of our art tutorials are narrated by the very people who developed, or pivotal in the development of, the various workflows and digital art techniques that have become industry standards.

Photoshop tutorials include the fields of the classical (digital painting, digital inking, and even the hyper-popular comic coloring), to powerful 3D tutorials (Poser, SketchUp, ZBrush, and more!), Digital Art Tutorials provides straightforward instruction and priceless inspiration.  Our instructors take great pride creating educational tools that are both affordable and accessible to amateur hobbyists, students and seasoned professionals alike.  We’re so convinced you will love our products, we offer several free start-to-finish Photoshop tutorials, and previews of all our art tutorials. Sam Rodriguez make digital painting look easy

At first painting on a wacom tablet seemed foreign to me. I was not a painter and I could certainly not make my digital art work look like an oil paining. This painting was done using a wacom tablet photoshop. As you can see for Sam Rodriguez he makes it look easy.

Hand lettering is one of the ways as artist we can really show our skill and give a piece a very hand done look. We know when something is hand made and when it is done using traditional typefaces. We see here in this sketch that hand made typography can be incorporated into a poster design or simply a way to create an awesome signature.  This demo was created a few years ago by Shogun G. Curtis. He was able to show a formula to make a block font here broken up into a grid, and also how to layout letters in advance and make them fit into the workspace available. This image is available for you
